Dave Mills is an Inspiration

Dave suffers from Ataxia, a degenerative disease of the nervous system, yet he swims 2 miles a day and is a volunteer at the YMCA.

Dave has been competing in DSO swimming competitions since 2004.

For his determined spirit to overcome personal challenges and great odds and his courage to improve his quality of life, Dave was awarded the DSO Charlie Marten Memorial Award for 2009.
