Coordinator Information:

MEL CASTELL – SHUFFLEBOARD COORDINATOR

Mel Castell has been involved with the Delaware Senior Olympics since 1995. He participated most years in shuffleboard, softball and bowling.

Mel has been the Coordinator for Shuffleboard for the past several years, and, at age 80, he still thoroughly enjoys participating in the Senior Olympics.

Shuffleboard, is a sport in which players use broom-shaped paddles to push weighted pucks, sending them gliding down a narrow and elongated court, with the purpose of having them come to rest within a marked scoring area.
