ROB YOUNG – RACQUETBALL COORDINATOR

ROB YOUNG, a Superior Court Judge and musical comedy writer, has been DSO's racquetball coordinator for about 10 years.

He thinks the game is just about the best work-out a person can get while still having fun.

With a background in college lacrosse, but a clear inability to run midfield anymore, he loves the competition afforded by this great game. Why everyone isn't spending every spare minute playing racquetball is a complete mystery.

RACQUETBALL is an enclosed court game played by 2 (singles), 3 ("cutthroat") or 4 (doubles) people.

Its style and rules are very similar to those for handball, except that racquets of about 18" are used.

Both men and women, of a wide variety of skill levels, can thoroughly enjoy the game, when playing with others of a comparative skill level.

A match, consisting of two-out-of-three games, provides a terrific work-out and tremendous fun.
