Change of Venue for baseball
We are pleased to announce that we have acquired Frawley Stadium (home of the Wilmington Blue Rocks) in Wilmington for the Baseball venue this year. We will NOT be playing at Banning Park, as advertised previously. The game will be played at 4 pm on Saturday, August 28.
We will play one, seven inning game. That means we need to limit the number of players to twenty. The first twenty that sign up will be included.
There are games scheduled before and after our 4 pm game. Pre-game warm-ups will be limited. However, please plan to arrive by 3:15. We need to get your names, numbers, position, and batting order to the P.A. announcer twenty minutes before game time so there will be time to input the data for the scoreboard.
All players must be uniform. Please wear whatever you have that is close to looking like a softball or baseball uniform. We will have a limited number for you to borrow, if needed.
