If you are a Delaware resident, age 50 or over, you are invited to join Delaware Senior Olympics!

Get ready for the 2008 Games.

The Sports Coordinators have done a great job getting the venues and dates lined up and there is a new, more equitable pricing structure. We have complimentary T-Shirts for those who get their entries in on time and a brand new sport – Pickleball. All of us are really excited about the games this year and are expecting a record turnout and some great competition.

The Games registration booklet is now available online.

The registration documents are in two sections:

II - Registration. 3 pages you need to complete and mail to us. Download Section II

New Executive Director

Cheryl Moore

Effective Monday, June 23rd, Cheryl J. Moore will become our new Executive Director. Cheryl is a resident of Felton, Delaware and currently is co-owner of a retail sales business specializing in dancewear. Cheryl served as Executive Director of Lewes Senior Center and Director of Harvest Years Senior Center of Dover/Camden. Previously, Cheryl was Facility Director of Emily P. Bissell Hospital in Wilmington.

2008 Senior Group Challenge

The Delaware Senior Olympics invited Senior Groups to form teams representing their facilities and/or fitness centers, and compete for points in the 2008 Senior Group Challenge. The centerpiece of our Challenge is the nationally recognized Walk Delaware.
