Jeanette has been involved in Delaware Senior Olympics since 2006 and in a short time has made a big difference in the lives of many seniors. As the Chairperson of the Fitness Committee for Cheer Longneck she has embraced the Senior Group Challenge concept and been a leader in establishing a winning program. She has totally dedicated herself to spreading the philosophy of DSO, Fun, Fitness and Fellowship through physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. She led her Silver Sneakers Team of more than 40 active seniors to the Senior Group Challenge Championship in 2007 and is challenging for the top spot again in 2008. Jeanette is a member of the DSO Board of Directors, and has volunteered at Beach Day and many Health Fairs. For her motivation and relentless hours of volunteerism DSO recognizes Jeanette Partilla with its 2008 Outstanding Volunteer Award.
