The centerpiece of our Challenge is the nationally recognized Walk Delaware. Participants in this activity are encouraged to walk 131 miles during a 12-month period (less than 4/10 of a mile per day). This distance is the sum of the length and width of the state of Delaware. Points are awarded on a per-mile basis, so shorter distances still count.
